Curva Nord’s message to Inter president: “Zhang go away”

One of the most enthusiastic ultras in Italian football, Inter‘s Curva Nord has once again taken a swipe at Inter’s management, with president Steven Zhang being at the focal point of their exasperation.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the group, consisting of Inter’s most passionate fans, has asked Steven Zhang to step down as the president and leave the club as soon as possible.

Taking their concern about the team’s poor start to the 2022/23 season to the group’s Instagram handle, Curva Nord wrote:

“Zhang go away.”

As the report suggests, Curva Nord has been making its voice clear and loud in recent weeks, with banners of “Skriniar is not touched, clear pacts and long friendship”, “The time is over”, “Promises must be kept”, and “Take responsibility or leave town” displaying a sense of resentment from the Curva Nord members toward the Nerazzurri hierarchy.

Since the start of the season, Inter have lost three games out of seven matches in Serie A, having garnered 12 points that have kept them at the eighth position on the points table. As reported previously, Inter had a meeting with their head coach Simone Inzaghi on Thursday evening, where the management exhibited their faith in the manager struggling for results lately.
