Empoli goalkeeper hosts Ukrainian refugees at his home

Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicaro hosted two Ukrainian refugees at his home recently.

Sky claim that since the outbreak of the war, Vicario has been very attentive to the situation of refugees and had been wanting to lend his hand to help.

He had the opportunity to do so recently and Vicario is currently hosting a Ukrainian mother and her 8-year-old son at his house in Udine. They fled from their country amidst the country but the boy’s father is still in Ukraine, fighting at the front against the Russian army.

It is stated that the boy, like Vicario, now wants to play football and Vicario is looking for a football school for him as well.
