The situation of Roma midfielder Jordan Veretout has further deteriorated after he attended his wife’s birthday party even when she had COVID-19.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Veretout is now ‘in trouble’ at Roma because of his wife, who had tested positive for COVID-19 a day before her birthday party and she had actually informed everyone of both the things on social media.
Veretout is said to be the number one suspect to have tested positive for the virus, as the club has kept the name of the player under the wraps. He is expected to leave the club in the summer anyway and this has further spoiled his relationship.
His agent Mario Giufreddi has already left him, with the agent recently revealing that he wants his clients to show good behaviour.
