Former Chelsea man Diego Costa has been offered to Atalanta but as things stand, Gian Piero Gasperini isnโt keen on the move.
Daniele Longo has reported that La Dea do have the chance to sign Costa and Graziano Pelle also offered himself to the club. The Italianโs attempts have failed and Atalanta have refused the chance to sign the ex-Southampton man.
Costaโs situation is still hanging in the balance and if Atalanta do sign him, it will only be for this season only. Gasperini isnโt keen on the move as the Europa League list has already been sent through and registering Costa would mean removing someone from the list. Gasperini isnโt too keen due to character issues surrounding Costa too.
In the next few hours, there will be a meeting between Gasperini and the clubโs management to understand which free agent to sign.
