Lille defender Zeki Celik is one the candidates that could replace Alvaro Odriozola at Fiorentina this summer.
Gianluigi Longari has reported about La Viola’s interest in Celik, claiming that the right-back is someone that La Viola have looked at in the past and his name is now back in fashion. Recently, Fiorentina actually did make an enquiry about the player, who has previously been linked with other Serie A outfits too.
It is stated that while other names are also there on the Florence club’s shortlist, Celik is one of the players that are being eyed. Recently, links with Manchester United’s Diogo Dalot also emerged.
Odriozola spent the 2021/22 season on loan at the Artemio Franchi and the Spaniard impressed for the club. He recently made it clear that he wants to play for Real Madrid and he sees his long-term future at the Santiago Bernabeu. As a result, Fiorentina need a new regular right-back.
