Missing out on Gleison Bremer, Inter have identified Fiorentina star Nikola Milenković as a potential alternative to the Brazilian. Inter are reportedly ready to push for the signing of the Serbia international.
Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio reports that Fiorentina could sign Ajax’s Perr Schuurs in the event of Nikola Milenković’s departure from Artemio Franchi this summer.
La Viola see the 22-year-old Dutchman as a possible replacement for the 24-year-old, who has emerged as a top target for Inter.
Inter have been keen on signing a central defender for a long time, and their transfer priority was Bremer even a few days ago. But, with Juventus winning the race for the Brazilian, Inter are now on the hunt for a backup option, namely Milenković.
Fiorentina have already started evaluating the possible outcomes regarding Milenković’s future and shortlisting replacements for the Serbian.
The club likes the profile of Perr Schuurs. However, they are not the only interested party, with Bologna also enquiring about the defender in recent times.
Bound to Ajax’s contract until June 2025, the aspiring superstar has played 90 matches for the senior side of Ajax so far. Last season, he made 29 appearances for the Amsterdam club across all competitions.
