Interโ€™s Simone Inzaghi asking for retrospection after their 3-1 defeat to Udinese

Inter stumbled upon another hurdle as they succumbed to a 3-1 defeat to Udinese on Sunday afternoon.

A fantastic opener from Nicolo Barella went in vain as an own goal from Interโ€™s Milan Skriniar and the consecutive strikes from Jaka Bijol and Tolgay Arslan secured all three points for the home side.

In the post-match press conference, Simone Inzaghi asked his team to do some retrospection. As quoted by Tutto Mercato Web, Inzaghi said:

โ€œItโ€™s time, last year we had lost three games after 30 matches, after 7 games there are now three defeats and therefore we must try to do better and more, Iโ€™m the coach and the first person in charge. Three away matches, three times ahead, and three defeats, we need to improve.โ€

Following the result, Inter have found a place in the seventh position, having garnered 12 points from seven matches. Pressure has started mounting on Inzaghiโ€™s shoulders as it was their third defeat in the last five Serie A fixtures.
