Jakub Kiwior wants to stay in Spezia amid interest from Premier League club

West Ham United have shown interest in signing Jakub Kiwior from Spezia this summer. However, the player has shown an inclination toward staying in Serie A.

According to Italian transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio, Jakub Kiwior is willing to reject the offer from West Ham United to stay at Spezia. The Poland international wants to play in the upcoming World Cup. And moving to the Premier League club, where he might not be able to get regular playing time, could reduce his chances of making the World Cup squad.

Therefore, Kiwior is more interested in moving on to pastures new once the World Cup campaign is over.

The report also claims that the Hammers have offered Spezia a figure of around €12 million for the 22-year-old defender. The Italian side is keenly pondering upon whether to sell the player. Milan remain another interested party in Kiwior’s services. Nevertheless, the Rossoneri plan to go after him in January or the next summer.
