Roma boss Jose Mourinho is pushing for his side to sign another centre-back this summer.
Il Messaggero claim that with deadline fast approaching, Mourinho is still said to be unhappy about the business done by Roma and especially following the injury picked up by Marash Kumbulla, he would like a new centre-back to be brought in.
One of the names probed by Roma’s Tiago Pinto is that of Dan-Axel Zagadou, even though the dream target is Paris Saint-Germain’s Abdou Diallo. Evan N’Dicka is another name they are keeping an eye on for a late move.
Francesco Acerbi’s name was doing the rounds recently but Roma sources have denied any interest in the Biancocelesti defender. There are also no negotiations currently to sign a new centre-back and last minute signings can’t be excluded, especially considering the exits of Amadou Diawara and Riccardo Calafiori.
The official announcement involving Mady Camara’s signing is expected today.
