Juventus could sell USA international Weston McKennie in January

USA international Weston McKennie could be set to head out of the exit door from Juventus in January.

McKennie has been used a variety of positions by Max Allegri this season but his performances haven’t been great and with Paul Pogba yet to return to fitness, the American may be relegated to the bench when the Frenchman comes back from injury.

Fabiana Della Valle has reported about the situation of the midfielder, reporting that McKennie remains a ‘semi-mysterious’ profile for many at the club and his current importance to the team will reduce once Pogba returns to full fitness for the Bianconeri.

If his performances don’t improve from now till the World Cup, a January exit is very much on the cards for the player. Juve paid over €20 million for McKennie and they will like to earn a similar amount from his sale.

The 24-year-old has made nine appearances this season, picking up one assist so far and he has played in central midfield, left wing and right wing.
