Juventus edge past Inter in the race for Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso

Genoa’s Andrea Cambiaso is not short of potential suitors this summer, with Atalanta, Juventus and Inter all interested in the services of the Italian.

According to La Stampa (via Tutto Juve), Juventus have overtaken Inter in the race for Andrea Cambiaso. The Bianconeri like the Genova-born youngster and are willing to sign the player in the summer.

But interest from other clubs has seen the Old Lady delaying a potential deal. However, the latest story indicates that Genoa appreciate the prospect of getting Radu Dragusin as part of the Cambiaso deal.

Dragusin, 20, joined Salernitana on a six-month loan deal in January 2022. The defender made 20 appearances for the Salerno-based club last season, leading them to a miraculous relegation survival in the latter half of the campaign.

He will return to Juventus this summer as the loan does not include an option or obligation to buy. Juventus will offer the Romanian plus €3 million to Genoa in an attempt to land the young left-back.

The Rossoblù value the 22-year-old at €10 million. Genoa, who suffered relegation from Serie A at the end of the 2021/22 season, have found the offer tempting.
