Juventus set to sign Marseille’s Arkadiusz Milik on initial loan deal

Serie A giants Juventus are now set to sign Marseille striker and ex-Napoli star Arek Milik this summer.

The Bianconeri had looked at multiple options to sign a potential back-up striker to Dusan Vlahovic. Attempts for Timo Werner, Alvaro Morata and Memphis Depay didn’t materialise into transfers but it seems as if a move for Milik is sealed.

Romeo Agresti has reported that the Pole is set to join the Bianconeri on an initial loan deal from Marseille. An agreement was reached with the French side some days ago and an agreement on personal terms has now been found between the Old Lady and the player’s entourage.

Juve will pay €1 million for the loan fee and the option to buy is set at €7 million. It is stated that Depay was long being courted by Juve, but they decided to turn their attention fully to Milik, who spent four years at Napoli from 2016 to 2020.
