Lazio have initiated contact to sign Sassuolo midfielder Maxime Lopez in an attempt to replace the departing Lucas Leiva.
Daniele Longo has reported that Maurizio Sarri wants the club to sign a goalkeeper, two centre-backs, a defensive midfielder and a playmaker. Lopez is a profile that really interests him and Jose Mourinho as well.
Lucas will return to Brazil once his contract expires in the summer and Sarri would like a fast-thinking player to replace the player. Lopez embodies all the characteristics and he is now a clear goal for the Biancocelesti.
Contacts have been made over the recent weeks and the player is valued at €15-€20 million by Sassuolo. Lazio are determined and they have decided when to hold talks with the Neroverdi as well.
