Lazio want to sign Milan defender for Sarri, Tottenham and Barcelona pay attention

Lazio’s Claudio Lotito is keen on signing Alessio Romagnoli for Maurizio Sarri but Tottenham and Barcelona are also paying attention to the player.

La Repubblica claim that Lotito has already talked to Romagnoli’s entourage about a possible move and the Italian is a Biancocelesti fan since his childhood. To join his childhood club, Romagnoli would be willing to sign a four-year deal worth €3.3 million per season plus bonuses.

Milan are expected to make their last possible offer for him in the next few days and they could make a new offer for Franck Kessie as well.

Juventus are also interested in Romagnoli but the situation depends on the future of Matthijs de Ligt, who could leave in the summer. Juve feel that the Dutchman could stay beyond this season.

Tottenham and Barcelona remain the two most interested clubs from abroad but they have not moved for the Italian yet. Romagnoli though, would like it if Lazio close the deal quickly – before the situation becomes more complex.
