Leeds United have now sealed a very late move for Italy international forward Wilfried Gnonto.
Fabrizio Romano has reported that the move for the Whites has now been sealed and the deal is all but sealed and is only awaiting the processing of the work permit for the ex-Inter youngster. Once that is sorted out, the youngster will be Leeds’ final signing of the summer transfer window.
Personal terms are not supposed to be an issue and are already said to be agreed. Serie A side Monza were also linked with the player some days ago and Alfredo Pedulla had suggested that Leeds will make one last attempt for the Zurich starlet or Monza could take the chance.
German clubs such as Hoffenheim were linked with Gnonto earlier in the summer and their interest came right after he had impressed for the Azzurri in the UEFA Nations League games recently.
