Premier League side Manchester United have edged close to agreeing personal terms with Adrien Rabiot but the distance between the two parties is still there.
Giovanni Albanese has reported that while an agreement on personal terms has still not been reached, John Murtough’s arrival and talks in Turin have helped the cause of both parties coming together for striking a deal. Confidence has grown but the final agreement has been postponed till next week.
United have increased their offer and have come closer to the demands of Rabiot by offering bonuses and commissions to Veronique – Rabiot’s mother-agent.
Talks will go on and the parties will probably meet again next week. Veronique would like a wage for his son in the double figures but United have not reached that mark yet. But United could offer some add-ons on the basis of performance and reach that mark.
Erik ten Hag has already explained the project to the Frenchman, who has hinted his approval regarding a move to Old Trafford. Confidence regarding an agreement is very much there on both sides now.
