Manchester City interested in Juventus’ Paulo Dybala

Premier League champions Manchester City are said to be keeping an eye on the situation of Juventus’ Paulo Dybala.

La Gazzetta dello Sport report today that with a meeting involving Juve and Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun set to take place tomorrow, the player’s initial wish is to stay at the Bianconeri and he would even be happy to finish his career there. But Juve are only going to propose a salary which will be much less than what the parties were about to agree on in 2021.

They had initially agreed a €8 million plus bonuses of around €2 million deal for the Argentine but Dusan Vlahovic’s signing changed their plans. More than one club has asked for information about the player from Antun and one of them is certainly Inter, but it is yet to be known what will be Dybala’s preferred destination.

Atletico Madrid are keeping an eye on the situation and so are Man City now. It has been previously suggested that while Dybala isn’t keen on playing in England, City are the only club for which he can make an exception.

The important thing for Dybala is the project on offer and being at the centre of it. But as things stand, finding a new destination should not be complicated but it all depends on Juve.
