Manchester United’s contract offer for Adrien Rabiot failing to meet current demand

Manchester United’s current contract offer for Adrien Rabiot is failing to meet the demands set by the player.

Juventus and United have already agreed on a fee for the transfer of the Frenchman but no personal terms have been agreed yet and talks are ongoing for it.

Alfredo Pedulla has confirmed that while the agreement between the clubs has been reached, the second agreement is still missing. Rabiot wants a basic €7 million per season in his wages at Old Trafford but United’s offer is lower than that demand currently.

It is stated that Rabiot’s mother-agent Veronique is not giving up on the move, implying that she may want a move to happen and she is trying to thrash out an agreement. And it is suggested that her involvement in the talks is key.

It has been reported that United’s director of football John Murtough was in Turin today but no agreement was reached on personal terms.
