Napoli are now close to signing Georgian starlet Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Dinamo Batumi in the summer.
Journalists Marco Conterio and Daniele Longo have reported about the Partenopei’s chase of Kvaratskhelia, claiming that the move in the summer is now edging closer.
Conterio has reported that Napoli are expected to hand him a five-year deal, with the Georgian expected to be a long-term replacement for Lorenzo Insigne, who is joining Toronto FC for free in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old left-winger has contributed to seven goals in 19 league games this season, having also featued in the Conference League for Dinamo Batumi.
In the Premier Liga last season, Kvaratskhelia had contributed to 12 goals and had attracted interest from Leeds United.
