Sassuolo striker set for new deal amidst Inter and Milan interest

Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca has now agreed to sign a new deal with the Neroverdi amidst interest from Milan and Inter.

Marco Conterio has reported today that the details have been sorted out for Scamacca’s new contract at the Mapei, with the striker now set to sign a deal till the summer of 2026.

Only the official confirmation is missing and all the details have been decided. Scamacca’s wage will be doubled and he will go from earning €400k a season to earning €800k a season with the Neroverdi.

His future though, is still uncertain. Inter are interested and while Milan are also an option, they are well behind in the race for the Italian. Borussia Dortmund tried to sign him in January but Scamacca didn’t want to move to Germany.

Only the confirmation of the new deal is missing now, with everything sorted for the contract.
