Napoli edge close to signing Paris Saint-Germain’s Keylor Navas

Serie A side Napoli have taken a step closer to signing Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Keylor Navas.

The Partenopei had initially edged very close to signing Chelsea’s Kepa but the deal seemed too complicated and the move didn’t materialise.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that positive signs have arrived from the negotiation regarding a potential completion of the move. As a result, the move has edged closer and Navas’ chances of joining Napoli are well more than that of Kepa.

Christophe Galtier’s arrival has made sure that Gianluigi Donnarumma is a regular at PSG, which means that Navas is closer to the exit door at the French club now. Galtier himself has spoken about the possibility of the Costan Rican departing this summer.

Salvatore Sirigu has already arrived at the club this morning and he is undergoing a medical with the club. But the club do need a starting goalkeeper, which is now likely to be Navas.
