Napoli striker doesn’t want exit despite Arsenal and Man Utd links

Napoli’s Victor Osimhen doesn’t want to leave the Partenopei despite constant links with Manchester United and Arsenal.

Il Mattino have reported about Napoli’s striker situation and the changes that can happen in the summer. They say that Dries Mertens is currently willing to halve his salary and sign a new deal with that, even though he’ll earn €3 million per season.

Mertens was visited by Aurelio de Laurentiis recently and the Belgian is said to be ‘happy’ with the interaction that they had. He is now expected to sign a one-year deal with the option of a second while having his wages halved.

As for Osimhen, the Nigerian is happy to be doing ‘fine’ at Naples. And despite a host of Premier League clubs like him but as things stand, he does not want to leave the Maradona Stadium and wants to develop further.
