Napoli’s Piotr Zielinski could become Conte’s target at Tottenham

Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski could become a target for Tottenham Hotspur under Antonio Conte.

Journalist Alfredo Pedulla has recently written about Conte’s potential signings at Spurs, following the Italian’s raids on Serie A to sign Dejan Kulusevski, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ivan Perisic. The journalist has stated that Spurs had offered a fee of 50 million to Inter for Milan Skriniar in January and the Nerazzurri were happy with the offer, but the defender rejected the approach.

It is also stated that to sign Alessandro Bastoni, Spurs would have to put forward a minimum fee of €50 million plus bonuses to have a chance of signing the Italian. Attention also has to be paid on Weston McKennie, with Juventus having doubts about the player.

Zielinski has also been given a mention, with the journalist claiming that an exit from Napoli will not be a surprise. Conte wanted Zielinski at Inter in the summer of 2019 and while a deal was close, Napoli rejected the move. A new approach from Conte at Spurs cannot be ruled out. Bayern Munich have been linked with the Polish midfielder too.
