Fiorentina have now officially signed Serbian striker Luka Jovic from Real Madrid.
Jovic hasn’t had the best of times during his time at Real Madrid, ever since he arrived at the Spanish side from Eintracht Frankfurt. He did spend a loan stint at the Eagles but he hasn’t managed to recover his form at Los Blancos.
Fiorentina have now announced the permanent signing of the striker, as he arrives on a deal which is much different to the usual deals. It is expected that Real will pay his wage for two years instead of paying a severance fee to terminate his contract.
The Spanish side will have a 50 percent sell-on clause for whenever he leaves in the future. After the first two years, Jovic will have the option to either join another club or continue at La Viola.
Fiorentina have not taken up the chance to sign Krzysztof Piatek permanently, with Arthur Cabral still at the club.
