Paris Saint-Germain hit stalemate in talks for Inter’s Milan Skriniar

French side Paris Saint-Germain have hit a stalemate in their talks for Inter defender Milan Skriniar.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported that the negotiations involving the two clubs have not shown any signs of life recently, even though the defender is Christophe Galtier’s favoured option to fix the backline.

The most recent offer by PSG was at €60 million but it was considered insufficient by Inter, who now want to close the deal at €70 million and have rejected offers of various players in the deal from the French outfit. Inter still believe that PSG have not given up and are just playing the waiting game to force Inter’s hand into selling.

Inter need Skriniar’s sale to bring forward the move for Bremer but regardless of whether the ex-Sampdoria man leaves or not, Beppe Marotta wants to prepare the groundwork for the deal and all but confirm the move fro the Brazilian. A meeting is set to take place with Urbano Cairo this week to finalise the move, which can include players.
