Roma visit Milan to face Inter in the eighth round of Serie A fixtures on Saturday evening. While it was initially expected that Paulo Dybala would be available for this clash of titans, the latest updates on the player’s fitness have agreed to disagree.
According to what is reported by Sky Sport Italia, Paulo Dybala remains a strong doubt for the Giallorossi against Inter at the weekend. After picking up a knock before the game against Atalanta on the previous matchday, La Joya had to sit on the sideline.
Though, the subsequent tests revealed that it was not a serious issue for the player. And thus, he was allowed to join Argentina for his national duties. However, owing to what appeared to be a muscle injury for the 28-year-old, he was not risked in any of the two friendlies against Honduras and Jamaica, respectively.
Amid concerns about Dybala’s fitness, there is a piece of good news for Jose Mourinho’s side, with their captain Lorenzo Pellegrini fully recovering from his muscle injury. He should make the matchday squad for Roma’s trip to Inter on Saturday.
