Manchester United’s Pogba has offer from Bayern Munich amidst Juventus interest

Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has offers on the table from Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain, with Juventus also interested in the player.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have reported recently that there is substance to Juventus’ recent interest in the Frenchman and he is now at the top of Juve’s shortlist. There are two reasons for why Juve still believe that they can bring back the midfielder to Turin this summer.

They believe that Pogba likes Turin and wants to return to the city. The second reason pertains to the fact that like Pogba’s season at United, Juve’s season will also effectively end after the Coppa Italia final later today. This will help them potentially work on a deal and make potentially decisive moves.

Juve had great relations with the late Mino Raiola, who was told by the Bianconeri many months ago that they were interested in the Frenchman. They wanted to stay informed of any offers and now, Bayern and PSG have made moves for the player. Juve though, believe that Bayern’s offer is inferior to what they themselves can offer.

Juve also believe that the uncertainties around the futures of key people at PSG could hand them the advantage in the saga.

The stumbling block for Juve is the player’s wage demand. His current demand is 15 million per season, whereas Juve hit a salary ceiling at 7.5 million. The Bianconeri believe that adding attractive bonuses in the contract can help them and the Growth Decree regulations can help them reduce what they have to pay.

The Turin club can also be helped by the fact that Pogba is a brand ambassador of Adidas, who also sponsors the Bianconeri.
