It is turning out to be a significant transfer window for Sassuolo star Gianluca Scamacca, with multiple clubs interested in his services this summer.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Paris Saint-Germain have now raised their offer for Gianluca Scamacca. The report claims that PSG have been in contact with the Italian club over a move for the striker for a long time.
Scamacca, who recently signed a contract extension with the Neroverdi until June 2026, is considered a much-need reinforcement for the French champions.
Various reports have suggested that West Ham United have emerged as the team showing interest in the 23-year-old marksman. However, recent updates have indicated that the player is closing in on a move to the French capital.
As per Di Marzio, Sassuolo value the striker at around โฌ50 million. But Les Parisiens have not shown any inclination to match that asking price.
While PSGโs initial offer for Scamacca was around โฌ35 million plus bonuses, the new developments have seen the French side extending it to โฌ40 million plus bonuses.
Di Marzio understands that PSG have made good progress in the deal with this new offer as Scamacca is reportedly getting closer to joining the Ligue 1 club.
