Sassuolo star Raspadori speaks about his potential transfer to Juventus and Manchester United legends

Juventus have reportedly been keeping tabs on Giacomo Raspadori as they keep looking for a suitable replacement for Inter-linked Paulo Dybala.

In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, Raspadori talked about his aspiration to emulate the likes of Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez. He also blew the lid off the stories linking him with a summer transfer move to Juventus. The 22-year-old said,

“I cannot deny that I am happy that my name is mentioned for a transfer to Juve or to other big clubs. My ambition is to get to play there, at that level. And if I succeed it will be thanks to Sassuolo, a club that has made me grow in every respect.”

Paulo Dybala’s contract at Juve will run out in June 2022. Reports from Italy believe the Argentinian is considering a move to Inter. When asked whether the Italian would be a perfect replacement for La Joya, Raspadori said,

“It is a source of pride to be compared to him and to think of me as his heir. Paulo has an impressive quality. We have in common the taste and the tendency to tie the game together.”

Furthermore, he did not hold back his enthusiasm while talking about the players who have inspired the cunning attacker. He mentioned,

“Aguero, Tevez, Rooney: attackers who run, champions with the garra. The garra is fundamental because it pushes you beyond the limits.”
