Serie A champions Milan ‘very close’ to sealing move for Charles de Ketelaere

Milan are now very close to sealing the deal for Club Brugge star Charles de Ketelaere.

The Rossoneri have previously had moves pegged back for the Belgian star, with Leeds United also said to be interested. The Premier League side also came forward with a bid for the player, who seems much more keen on playing for the Serie A champions.

Daniele Longo has now reported that the move to Milan for the player is now ‘very close’. The Rossoneri have increased their offer for the Belgian and Milan are now offering €32 million plus bonuses of €3 million for the player.

Initially, Club Brugge wanted a fixed fee of €35 million but they are now willing to back down from their initial demand. There is an expectation that a deal can close between today and tomorrow and Stefano Pioli could potentially have the youngster at his disposal from Friday onwards.
