Serie A giants Juventus close in on Filip Kostić signing

Juventus have reportedly set a deadline for completing the signing of Filip Kostić from Eintracht Frankfurt and are working closely with the player to get him on board as soon as possible.

According to a report from Alfredo Pedulla, the Juventus board wants to make Kostić available to manager Massimiliano Allegri before Eintracht plays Real Madrid in the UEFA Super Cup final on Wednesday night in Helsinki.

The report also claims that the 29-year-old has asked his current club to release him from his contract valid until the summer of 2023 in order to facilitate his move to Juventus.

The Bianconeri are set to pay €15 million in principle to the German outfit as they hope to pay no further bonuses while awaiting a response from Eintracht Frankfurt for Kostić. The deal is in its final stages and an official announcement is expected in the next few hours from Juventus.
