After securing the services of Gianluca Scamacca from Sassuolo, West Ham continue to progress talks with Napoli for the transfer of Piotr Zielinksi.Â
According to a report from Alfredo Pedulla, The Partenopei have set an asking price of €40 million for the Polish attacking midfielder, including bonuses, but the Hammers are still far from reaching the figure. West Ham started negotiations with a €25 million bid which was quickly rejected by The Blues and now they have increased their bid to €30 million — Napoli is still reluctant to accept.
Zielinski’s profile is highly admired by David Moyes and will look to secure the 28-year-old signature within this transfer window. The player has 2 years left on his contract with Napoli and his high wage is the main factor behind the club’s intention to offload Zielinski. Milan have also drawn links with the Pole in recent days but the Rossoneri are yet to come forward with an offer.
