The horrifying numbers behind Paul Pogba’s injuries

Since his days at Manchester United, Paul Pogba has been criticized for his poor injury record. When the Frenchman joined Juventus on a free transfer last summer, it was expected to be a new dawn for the midfielder.

But his return to Turin has not gone as planned so far, with the 2018 World Cup winner sustaining an injury in Juventus’ pre-season that has reportedly ruled him out of the entirety of the first half of the 2022/23 season.

According to the data shown in the tweet posted by Get Italian Football News, Pogba has missed around 13 games per season on average over the last seven campaigns. However, over the last four seasons, the numbers have become much more demoralizing, with the midfielder missing 18 matches on average through various injuries.

The latest report understands that the recent injury sustained by the former Man United professional could also rule him out of the upcoming World Cup, only increasing the spell of Pogba’s absence and making the situation grimmer for the 29-year-old France international.
