Tottenham set to pursue January move for Atalanta’s Ruslan Malinovskyi

Tottenham Hotspur are set to make a January move for Atalanta star Ruslan Malinkovskyi.

Marco Conterio has reported about the Ukraine star, stating that while talks between Spurs and Atalanta have not begun in any way but the Lilywhites will make a January move for the left-footed midfielder, with both Antonio Conte and Fabio Paratici having identified the player as a key target.

They believe that signing Malinkovskyi will take Spurs to another level and in the next few weeks, talks could take place in a very concrete way and Spurs will then know about Atalanta’s demands as well. It is Conte’s wish that Spurs sign a creative player behind the striker and Malinovskyi is his choice as well.

Spurs were linked with a summer move for the player as well but despite his intentions to leave Atalanta, he ended up staying at the Bergamo-based outfit. Nottingham Forest were also linked with the player.
