Agent of Napoli’s Victor Osimhen: “His goal is to win with this team”

The agent of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has revealed that the Nigerian’s goal is to win things with the Partenopei this season.

Osimhen has been on fire this season for Napoli and he was exceptional in the club’s 5-1 win over Juventus in Serie A and it propelled them to nine points clear at the top of the table. He scored twice and picked up one assist and this season, the Nigerian has 12 goals and four assists in 14 Serie A games so far.

He has also impressed in the Champions League, catching the eyes of many clubs across Europe. His agent Roberto Calenda recently spoke to Corriere dello Sport (via TMW) about his client’s situation and his intentions, revealing that he is quite happy with the club and he wants to win the league with the Naples-based outfit.

“Victor is fine, happy and perfectly integrated with the people. At the stadium he is the first to party, to dance with the fans. His goal is to win with this team and give a dream to a city he loves. There is nothing other than this. Victor is a natural talent, physically devastating, I think the key is continuity.”

On the player’s injury issues and how it has stopped his progress sometimes, Calenda said: “He has been punished by injuries and now he is able to express his potential with serenity. He is working well with the team, understanding and harmony are growing, and with Spalletti’s advice he is continuously improving. He is fully mature.”
