Milan Skriniar rejects Inter contract approach

Inter defender Milan Skriniar has rejected the club’s contract offer but his decision is not definitive yet.

Sky Italia have reported that while Skriniar has, only for now, rejected the new deal, he wants to take his time to decide about his future. He has informed Inter through his agent Roberto Sistici, that he prefers to not agree to sign the new deal that the Nerazzurri put forward.

Inter are still keeping the door open, if Skriniar changes his mind. Gianluca di Marzio has further added more information to the situation, saying that Inter are convinced about the fact that they have put in maximum amount of effort for the defender and they are probing replacements for him.

Inter’s offer was at €6 million per season plus bonuses that take it upto €6.5 million. The offer was non-negotiable, but Skriniar’s initial request was €8 million per season, which Inter are clear they can’t offer.
