Atalanta interested in Almeria’s El Bilal Touré as key striker target

Atalanta have a wealth of quality in forward areas, and as such they are coming under huge pressure from clubs all around Europe for their prized possessions. The biggest attraction is of course Rasmus Højlund.

The 20 year old Danish striker is being pursued by Manchester United and several other clubs, and there is a high likelihood that he will leave Atalanta this summer.

Duvan Zapata is also a wanted man this summer, with Nottingham Forest and Everton keen to acquire the Colombian’s signature. These potential departures have meant that Atalanta need to prepare themselves, and as such they are looking at Almería’s El Bilal Touré. Fabrizio Romano has reported that the Italian club are in for him. The Malian international is 21 years old and and has only played his first season in La Liga, scoring 7 goals in 15 starts. He has impressed with his pace and athleticism, which is why Atalanta are monitoring him.

Touré has only ever played for Reims and Almería, and Atalanta feel that they can mold the striker into a dangerous proposition. The potential fee is unknown at this stage.
