Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie has refused a move to Tottenham, with the Ivorian yet to give his decision about Inter.
It has been reported that the idea of a swap deal involving Barcelona and Inter for Kessie and Marcelo Brozovic has stayed alive, but all of it depends on the two players.
Marco Conterio has reported further about Kessie’s situation, reporting that no offer has arrived from Inter so far and Barcelona have given the green light for his move away from Nou Camp. There were contacts with Tottenham not too long ago regarding a January move, but the Ivorian rejected the potential move because he wanted to stay at Barcelona.
It is suggested that the idea of moving to Inter could be much more tempting for the player, especially considering how Xavi sees Brozovic as the perfect fit for his midfield. That is a position that Barcelona are looking to strengthen in this month. Joan Laporta, as of now, is eyeing that swap deal himself.
