Bayern defender Benjamin Pavard snubs Man United as Frenchman only wants Inter

Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard has no interest in playing under Ten Hag within the Premier League as the Frenchman has his sights set on the Nerazzurri.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via FcInter1908), the 27 year-old versatile defender has refused the opportunity to join Manchester United within the summer transfer window despite the Red Devils having submitted an offer of €38m for the World Cup winner as Pavard only wants Inter as his next destination.

As it stands, Inter have submitted a second bid worth €30m after their initial bid of €25m was refused by the Bundesliga giants. However, Bayern are remaining firm on their asking price of €35m for the  former Stuttgart defender.

However, with Pavard’s contract expiring in the summer of 2024 and Inter reportedly having already reached an agreement with the France international regarding a free transfer at the end of the season in the case the Bavarians refuse to sell Pavard to the Beneamata, as per La Repubblica, Inter remain in constant talks with Bayern as they are confident that they can seal the signing of the right-footed defender within the next couple of days in order to complete the back-line.

In the case Inter are incapable of reaching an agreement with Bayern, the Milanese club have identified Torino central defender Perr Schurrs as the alternative signing before the summer market closes.
