Cristiano Ronaldo ready to take legal action against Juventus

Former Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be ready to take legal action against the Bianconeri over supplementary wages that were never paid to him.

Papers about Ronaldo’s secret agreement with the club about a supplementary wage were leaked yesterday and they bore Fabio Paratici’s signatures. The papers stated that even if Ronaldo left the club, Juve would have to pay a certain amount (€19.5 million) to the player, but that payment was never made as the club got embroiled in the money laundering saga.

La Repubblica have stated that Ronaldo is ready to ask for that money and is ready to sue the club over the lack of payment.

Today at 12.30pm (Italian time), Juventus will have to return to CAS for the judgment on the old capital gains. On top of that though, the federal prosecutor’s office is also investigating the more delicate issue of the famous salary maneuvers after the case emerged through the investigation papers found by the Turin prosecutor’s office.

It is stated that Ronaldo had signed the waiver of wages on the regular forms but he believes that he never signed the private agreements to get the money back. But the private agreement which was leaked yesterday had Paratici clearly mention that the club will pay him the supplementary wages by the end of June, 2021. But the fact remains that the private agreement never reached Ronaldo, who can use the document and leaked calls for legal action.
