Italian starlet Destiny Udogie is reportedly valued at his parent club Tottenham and his position wonโt change even after the departures of Antonio Conte and sporting director Fabio Paratici.
Speaking to TuttomercatoWeb in an exclusive interview, the agent of Destiny Udogie โ Stefano Antonelli, believes that his client remains a valuable asset of the Premier League side and the situation of manager Antonio Conte and Spursโ sporting director Fabio Paratici wonโt have an effect to the playerโs role at his parent club.ย
It can be said that the presence of the Italian duo of Conte and Paratici was the driving force in bringing the promising wing-back to Tottenham. However, according to Udogieโs agent, it was the decision of all of the important club officials in signing him from Serie A outfits Udinese, where he is currently on loan.ย
When asked whether Conteโs farewell and Paraticiโs temporary estrangement will have any affect on the 20-year-oldโs future, Antonelli said: โNo, for no reason at all. He is a Tottenham asset, then itโs clear that I hope that positive justice will be done to Paratici. We are all used to destruction, but for the good of our football, I hope this thing will resolve as soon as possible. The Tottenham project does not change, Udogie was bought with everyoneโs approval and many other professionals have called him important for the clubโ.
Destiny Udogie has played an influential role this season for Udinese as he has featured 26 times, netted 3 goals and recorded 3 assists across all competitions.ย
