Whilst talks with Sassuolo regarding the potential acquisition of 23 year-old Davide Fratessi have been quite stagnant in recent period, Inter have opened their tabs open on signing Udinese midfielder Lazar Samardzic within the central park instead.
TMW reports that the Nerazzurri are assessing the situation and could potentially submit an opening offer for the Serbian international as Marotta and Ausilio view the 21 year-old as an ideal alternative for Fratessi to fill the void within the midfield following the recent departure of Marcelo Brozovic to Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr.
With the Beneamata facing some difficulty in reaching an agreement with the Nerroverdi as they are currently asking for €40m in order to let the Italian international leave, Inter are slowly shifting their focus towards the promising Zebrette play-maker
Within last year’s campaign, Samardzic has attained five goals and four assists in 37 games-played for Udinese within the Serie A.
Inter are confident that they can potentially seal a deal for the break-out star for a fee around the region of €20m for the Udinese youngster in order to resolve the lack of depth within the central park.
