Defensive midfielder Sandro Tonali has officially completed a move to Premier League side Newcastle United from Milan.
Milan are set to earn a record fee of around €70 million from the sale of Sandro Tonali. The Rossoneri also hold a percentage of future resale value for the player.
The 23-year-old reportedly wanted to continue in Italy after showing enormous passion for Milan but pressures from Geoffrey Moncada facilitated the move.
With this signing, The Magpies have once again shown a clear intent to make their team a superpower in Europe in the next few years.
The Rossoneri club are expected not to sell any more players from their squad as this major sale will help them to recuperate their finances on a large scale.
Tonali had impressed in Milan’s Scudetto winning season and offers the ability to dictate play and has shown an immense amount of versatility across the heart of the park.
