Inter make contact for Spezia’s Emil Holm

Last season’s Champions League finalists Inter are keen on signing Spezia full-back Emil Holm and have taken the first step for a potential move.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that the Nerazzurri are in the market for a replacement for Raoul Bellanova, who has joined Torino already. Holm is seen as a player who can replace Bellanova and he could also offer a quality upgrade to the side on the right side of the pitch.

They have made formal contact with Spezia for Holm, with Atalanta and Juventus also keeping tabs on the Swede. Juventus see the 23-year-old as a potential replacement for Juan Cuadrado, who has already departed the Bianconeri. Spezia currently want €15 million to sell the player and it remains to be seen how much potential suitors offer.

Holm played 20 Serie A games last season, as he scored once and racked up two assists for the Serie B side.
