Roma are keen on bolstering their midfield this summer and have been linked with a host of names but they are now also interested in the possibility of signing Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay.
Gianluca di Marzio has reported that with Roma having now missed out on the possibility of signing Davide Frattesi, they are eyeing some alternate names. Marcel Sabitzer, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Man United last season, is a name of interest.
But McTominay is also someone that the Giallorossi like, with Jose Mourinho having famously managed him at Old Trafford. It was under Mourinho’s management that McTominay had broken into the first-team at United and had established himself as a regular. Mourinho remains an admirer of the midfielder.
Another name of interest is Renato Sanches, whose time at Paris Saint-Germain has been disappointing so far and he could leave PSG this summer.
