Inter’s Andrei Radu set for Auxerre switch

Inter’s Andrei Radu, who is currently on loan at Cremonese, is set to join French side Auxerre this month.

Radu was loaned out to the Cremona-based outfit in the summer but times haven’t been too smooth for the Romanian as after starting nine games for the club, he picked up an elbow injury which has kept him out of action since.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Radu is now set to return from his loan spell at Cremonese and join Auxerre on a loan deal. He will replace veteran Benoît Costil, who is set to move to Lille to play as a back-up.

Radu failed to make an impact at Inter either and during a vital game against Bologna last season, his error lead to the Nerazzurri dropping points and it proved vital in Milan’s Scudetto win later in the campaign. A product of Inter’s youth academy, he has played only five games for them.
