Juventus confident about landing Napoli sporting director Cristiano Guintoli

Juventus are confident about sealing a move for Napoli sporting director Cristiano Guintoli soon.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that a telephonic contact between Guintoli and Napoli CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis is scheduled for 4pm Italian time. They will, during that meeting, find a solution for his exit from the club and they will look to terminate Guintoli’s current deal, which expires in the summer of 2024.

Juve are currently waiting for the go-ahead for their move for the sporting director and they remain relaxed about the situation. They believe that Guintoli will reach an agreement to leave Napoli during the meeting later today. The Bianconeri are very optimistic about landing him and once Guintoli leaves the Partenopei, he will then be free to sign his contract with the Old Lady.

There has been talk of a potential compensation for Guintoli to leave but Juve held talks with Napoli for the same and they offered to sign Piotr Zielinski in an attempt to lure Napoli with some cash. But that didn’t quite work out.
