Juventus’ Paul Pogba out of action for 20 days

Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is set to be out of action for atleast days after his injury yesterday.

Pogba started for the Bianconeri against Cremonese yesterday and it was his first start in 390 days, with his last one coming against Manchester United. But within 30 minutes of the game, the Frenchman picked up a thigh injury and he trudged off, while having broken down in tears.

Giovanni Albanese has reported that the midfielder will be out for a minimum of 20 days, with the club’s website stating that his medical exam today showed a low-grade lesion of the rectus femoris of the left thigh.

It is stated that speculation around his future is premature, even though Juve are not happy with the investment that they have made so far. But the club are keen on making sure that they support him through the treatment, with his current deal running out in the summer of 2026.
