Milan edge close to move for Eintracht Frankfurt’s Daichi Kamada

Eintracht Frankfurt midfielder Daichi Kamada is currently prioritising a move to Milan in the summer.

Daniele Longo has reported about Kamada’s future, stating that the first meeting between Kamada’s agents and the duo of Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara dates back to January. The Japan international don’t hesitate in saying ‘yes’ to the Rossoneri about a summer move.

He would prioritise a move to the Rossoneri and would prefer joining the club over Napoli too. There is also an agreement over the wages, with the player having agreed to earn a wage of €3 million per season.

Despite the agreement in principle, there is a feeling that Milan would first have to complete and draw up all their plans for other transfers and the whole transfer window before completing the move. They do not want to lose the pole position that they have managed to grab in the race, with the likes of Benfica, Liverpool, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund having also made first contact.

And now, it is all down to Milan as to whether and when they want to close the move for the midfielder.
