Juventus players want meeting with club directors amidst crisis

With things not going right for Juventus on and off the pitch, the Bianconeri players are keen on having a meeting with the club’s directors.

Corriere della Sera claim that things have changed at Juve after the exits of Pavel Nedved and Andrea Agnelli, since they were always around the team and would have regular meetings with players. With their presences not around anymore and the club facing troubles, things are tense.

Some players are anxious about the situation at the club, with Angel di Maria’s Instagram post conveying that message. Players are worried about the mid-table position and the fact that they have nothing to aim for in Serie A.

New president Gianluca Ferrero and the CEO Maurizio Scanavino don’t have the same presence and connection with the players, so much so that the players are looking to have a meeting with them and the owners soon. They want to seek reassurances and certainties, with some seeking to sort out futures around their contracts while others looking to know about the club’s plans.

John Elkann has already met the players, but many others haven’t and the connection between the players and the higher-ups seems to be missing.
